Approach & About
I am committed to exploring all aspects of the human experience with you as a joint undertaking. Primarily my work draws from emotionally focused, relational and experiential approaches. As a licensed art therapist, I believe in the creative process as a container for growth and healing. Embracing our impermanence and meeting the moment with deep acceptance is an ongoing journey in the process of therapy and life. Our work may include art making if this is something you would like to do, however it is not essential to the therapy if it doesn’t speak to you.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Practices with an emphasis in Family Studies from Portland State University. I have worked in residential, hospital and community based mental health settings for 8+ years with a focus on child and adolescent mental health.
