Approach & About

My therapeutic focus is rooted in my values in clinical social work and strengths-based approach.  I believe that each person posses their unique qualities to help overcome the obstacles they face, and attain the growth and healing they seek for themselves.  I value adhering to your personal goals for treatment, specific to your needs, as well as pulling from your own personal insights and experiences to build your tools toward your progress.  All of my therapeutic practice is pulled from a selection of evidence based models, best suited for treatment needs, and are used to help guide and strengthen awareness and application of hope, control, and resiliency with each person and family I work with.  I am devoted to maintaining a therapeutic environment that is safe, confidential, and of high cultural acceptance and sensitivity.  I have my Masters Degree of Social Work from the University of Southern California and hold a License in Clinical Social Work in the state of Oregon and Washington. I have several years of experience in Oregon and Washington, providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and parents in community mental health. One of my great passions in this work is building trust with those who I am privileged to work with, and walking with each person or family on their path toward transformation and healing.
